HOLLEYWOOD SMİLE

Overview

Hollywood Smile is a popular treatment in cosmetic dentistry that aims to perfect a person’s smile. It involves a series of cosmetic dental treatments such as porcelain laminates, zirconium veneers, teeth whitening and orthodontic treatment to improve the color, shape and alignment of the teeth. Named after the flawless smiles of Hollywood stars, this procedure makes teeth appear naturally bright and straight. The treatment is individually planned and designed to suit each individual’s facial structure, skin color and overall aesthetic expectations. The result is a smile that is both aesthetically and functionally perfect.

Holleywood smile process

The Hollywood Smile process consists of steps that are personalized to the patient’s needs and desires. First, the dentist examines the patient’s oral structure and performs a detailed assessment to understand their aesthetic goals. At this stage, digital imaging and modeling techniques are used to simulate the results of the treatment.

Next, the color, shape and alignment of the teeth are studied. Aesthetic applications such as teeth whitening, porcelain laminate veneers or zirconium veneers are usually performed. If necessary, orthodontic treatment is used to ensure that the teeth are properly aligned. All these procedures are carefully planned to be compatible with the person’s facial structure and natural tooth color.

Finally, at the end of the treatment, the patient is given care and protection recommendations for their new smile. Hollywood Smile is a holistic approach to achieve not only an aesthetic but also a healthy smile.

Trip Plan

Consultation At the first visit, you will have a consultation with your dentist or oral surgeon to discuss your dental health and your need for dental implants. They will assess your oral condition, take x-rays and discuss your medical history.

Treatment Planning: Based on the assessment, your dentist will develop a personalized treatment plan. This may include additional procedures such as bone grafting if there is not enough bone to support the implant.
Implant Placement: If you are considered a suitable candidate for implants, the implant placement procedure will be scheduled. This involves surgically placing the implant into the jawbone under local anesthesia. The gum tissue is then sewn back into place and a temporary crown or denture can be provided.

Osseointegration: After the implant is placed, a healing period of several months is required. During this time, osseointegration takes place, the process by which the implant fuses with the surrounding bone tissue. It provides stability and strength for the final restoration.

Follow-up appointments: You will need to attend regular follow-up appointments with your dentist to monitor the healing process and ensure that the implant is properly integrated. X-rays or CT scans may be taken to evaluate the bone-implant interface.

Exposure of the Implant: After osseointegration is complete, a second visit is scheduled to expose the implant. Your dentist will make a small incision in the gum tissue to expose the implant.

Placement of the Abutment: The abutment, a connecting piece, is attached to the implant. It goes above the gum line and serves as the foundation for the final restoration.
Measurements: Once the abutment is in place, impressions of your teeth are taken to create a custom-made crown, bridge or denture. These impressions are sent to a dental laboratory for fabrication.
Final Restoration: Once the permanent restoration is ready, usually a few weeks later, you will have another appointment to have it placed. The restoration is securely attached to the abutment and provides a functional and aesthetic replacement for your missing tooth(s).

FAQ

The dental implant procedure is a multi-step process involving several stages to ensure the long-term success of the implant. After the implant session, you may experience some discomfort or pain after the anesthesia wears off, and some minor bruising and swelling of your gums may occur. You may also be limited to a soft food diet during the recovery period, which usually lasts on average 3-4 months.

Once your healing period is complete, the next sessions will involve taking impressions of your teeth, creating custom-made crowns for your implants and doing some tests to see if the crowns fit your mouth and feel good. The crown will then be sealed to your implant and you can return to your routine activities immediately afterwards.

Once the treatment is complete (4 to 6 months after implantation), you will feel more comfortable smiling, eating and talking as the crowns are made to match natural teeth and their color and shape look like a natural, integral part of the mouth. Your jawbones will also become stronger because dental implants will stimulate the growth of the jawbone during the osseointegration process, making the area stronger and healthier.

To take good care of your dental implants, it is important to maintain good oral hygiene. Unlike removable dentures, dental implants are fixed and anchored to the jawbone and with proper oral hygiene, they are a durable and long-lasting solution.
